Das Label BRACHMANN kreiert seit 2014 spielerisch minimalistische Mode für Frauen und postklassische Kollektionen für Männer, die von der Architektur und den Designprinzipien des Bauhaus inspiriert sind. BRACHMANN zerlegt Klassiker der Mode in ihre Grundelemente und kombiniert die so entstandenen Module zu neu konstruierten Designs, die auf Ornamente verzichten. Die De- und Rekonstruktion der Klassiker in einer architektonischen Perspektive führt zu neuen Hybriden, Details und Silhouetten. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail werden alle Kleidungsstücke aus hochwertigen Stoffen aus Naturfasern hergestellt, die ausschließlich in der EU bezogen und nachhaltig hergestellt werden. BRACHMANN bietet stimmige Kollektionen für Frauen und Männer mit einem trendunabhängigen Geschmacksbewusstsein, die ihre eigene kreative Persönlichkeit durch neu interpretierte Klassiker zum Ausdruck bringen möchten. Das Label wurde 2016 vom Fashion Council Germany für den International Woolmark Award nominiert.

BRACHMANN, inspired by architecture, creates playfully minimalist collections for women and postclassical menswear since 2014. With a handwriting particularly educated by the Bauhaus principles of design, the label deconstructs and reinvents luxury essentials, redefining the notions of chic & elegance for both sexes. In its collections the label explores the tension between oppulence and purism and focuses on clever details, hybrids, and silhouettes in order to establish a unique post-classical signature that is subtly avant-garde, yet timeless. With high attention to detail and craftsmanship, all garments are made from high quality natural fabrics that are exclusively sourced and sustainably manufactured in the EU. BRACHMANN offers postclassical collections for the contemporary wearer who seeks to express her or his own creative personality by individually reinterpreted classics. The Fashion Council Germany nominated the label for the International Woolmark Prize 2016.

Zur FASHION POSITIONS 2021 zeigt BRACHMANN in Kooperation mit Axl Jansen (https://www.axljansen.com) als Premiere in einer analogen Videoinstallation drei Fashion Filme, die während unseres Kooperation mit dem Mies van der Rohe Haus Berlin entstanden sind. Axl Jansen hat dazu in Anlehnung an die Ästhetik der Neuen Sachlichkeit in Film und Fotografie aus dem Filmmaterial drei sphärische und poetische Filme ediert, die auf drei klassischen Analog-Monitoren jeweils in einem Loop gezeigt werden. Jeder Film nimmt dafür eine unterschiedliche Perspektive ein: die des Hauses, die Welt aus der Sicht des Models sowie die des Übergangs.

At FASHION POSITIONS 2021, BRACHMANN, in cooperation with Axl Jansen (https://www.axljansen.com), will premiere an analogue video installation of three fashion films made during our cooperation with the Mies van der Rohe Haus Berlin. Axl Jansen has edited three spherical and poetic films from the film material, following the aesthetics of the New Objectivity in film and photography, which will be shown in a loop on three classic analogue monitors. Each film takes on a different perspective: that of the house, the world from the model's point of view and that of the transition between those two perspectives.
